Cotton Colors Slings

“Divya Magenta“ (Tester)

Brand: Cotton Colors Slings (RU)
Material: 100% cotton
density:  230 gr/m2

About the company: Cotton Colors is the machine woven brand of Cotton Cloud, which you may already know as beautiful handwovens in great quality and – colours, of course 🙂 I own a handwoven already and was happy to test their machine woven.

My first impression: Really nice. The colours are literally shimmering, looking lighter (pink) in sunlight and darker (more lilac)  if not held in the light. Divya Magenta comes in magenta on grey with a classy design. The all cotton wrap is mid thin but solid and already pretty soft when it arrived here. This wrap doesn’t have too much stretch.

How does it wear: I took Divya Magenta to carry my daughter through a walk along some Cotton Colors Slings rocks – a nice path we’ve walked before. Because of some rather dangerous spots, my daughter doesn’t walk the whole path and I’m happy to carry her. Because we paused several times, she went up and down and I tied Double Hammock as well as a Ruck tied tibetan. Both carries felt comfy and stood in place very well (if tied nicely, which I don’t always do 😉 No slipping, perfect for a little hike like this!

Conclusion: If you like solid wraps that are not too thick or heavy, I can recommend this one for you! Wear it in a multi-layer-carry to get enough support with heavier wrappees so I’d say this one’s suitable for all! And I love that changing-colours-and-shimmering-effect 🙂

Tested in december 2015 with 15 kg and 4 years old wrappee.
