About the brand: Amazonas is a well known and longtime (22 years!) brand for baby carriers, wraps, hammocks and other products. They are active in several countries so you might have heard of them before. They aim for quality and especially for baby products they hold on ergonomic babywearing and laying (Amazonas baby hammocks and chairs).

My first impression: The wrap is nice, simple, thin and airy. One light pink coloured block between the berry colour. The wrap arrives in a box with a guide for how to wrap it. After a wash it keeps its appearance.

How does it wear: As the wrap is quite thin, it’s easy to wrap with it. It’s densely woven which provides a nice support. I’ve worn it for walks, in the household as well as working around the house. In front and on the back. I love it as a wrap for quick ups in front and on the back. If you’ve got sensitive shoulders, I’d recommend to fan out the straps evenly to prevent from a punctual pressure due to the light texture. This is a wrap that allows you to tighten neatly so, feel free to try a lot of carries. There’s a small amount of fabric, so you might be disappointed if you finish with a Candy Cane Chestbelt – it won’t look bulky but thin 😉

Conclusion: Nice wrap for beginners, especially newborns and warmer days. Simple and good quality. Soft enough from the start. The Amazonas baby wrap is available in two sizes and different colours. There’s a wide range of different wraps/carriers.
