Tested product from Greyse: I got this lovely cotton babywearing pullover in graphite with light pink accents and additional loop for my neck. It has two pockets for the hands, one zip in the front on the side and one in the middle of the back for easier dressing with your baby. There’s a hoodie for your baby which can be adjusted. The pullover has long sleeves with thumbholes.
Fit & practicability: I’ve taken size L but XL might have been better with my already big girl. The fit is rather tight, not loose, but still comfy. And I love that it’s long enough to cover my bum. 😉 The only thing is, that it’s harder to close the zipper with a big baby in the front when the fit is tight, but I still managed to do so.
I’d usually carry my girl on the back but the hole for her head is rather small and I didn’t want to risk that she’ll lose her hat when I put on the pullover. To be honest, that’s often an issue while using a babywearing jacket on the back although I’m using elephant hoods.
Unfortunately, my girl uses to lean backwards when I put on the jacket which makes it really difficult to put on a jacket without her losing her hat. If you’ve got any advice on this, please tell me! 😀 I’ve got T-Rex-arms which means I cannot put her hat on after she’s on my back. 😉 Of course I often walk together with my family or friends so they can put her hat on.
Anyway, long story ending here: the zippers are very welcome and useful and due to them and the sizing of the pullover, you don’t need an insert, which is great, especially if you switch between wearing in front and on the back. A pullover like this would be my choice to grab on longer trips when I change positions. 🙂
Especially the loop which can be even draped around your head, too, offers great neck protection, which means you don’t need to wear a scarf. The baby is pretty safe, too because the head hole is tiny and shoulders and arms stay warm. 🙂
Conclusion: The Greyse babywearing hoodie is a great and cozy allrounder for mild days, available in different colours, easy to use in front and on the back and one piece only.
