About the company: Huggyberry is a turkish brand producing different baby wraps and carriers. It all started with a monthly babywearing meet up, turned into some kind of sling library and finally, around 2016, „out of pure adventurous spirit and probably unawareness„, Huggyberry was born. After many travels to textile centers in Turkey and talks with many weavers, Huggyberry’s first line of wraps came out in june 2017, which means: Happy 1st birthday!!! ?

Huggyberry carrier – fully adjustable

My first impression: The Huggyberry carrier really makes a great impression – it’s fully adjustable in height and width up to size 74/80 which means it will fit at least 16 to 18 months, depending your baby’s size. The shoulder straps can be attached to the hip belt (please use this with your newborn until approx 9 months) or back panel (makes bigger babies like mine weightless!). I also love the design – hubby says it’s kinda psychedelic! 😀

How to adjust it: The Huggyberry carrier is easily adjustable in height and width by velcro and ties (hipbelt) and ties (panel). It’s possible to adjust the length of the shoulder straps to fit the carrying person better.

How does it fit and wear: I tried both variations with my baby. I don’t know why but it seems she was sitting a bit higher when I attached the straps to the hipbelt. However, for me it was comfier when I attached them to the back panel. I could wear her for a long time without feeling her weight. The straps and belt are well padded – all comfy! Considering the child, I can’t tell how good the support is for a newborn, maybe someone can tell who tried it with a tiny baby… but with older children it’s definitely fine and ergonomic.

Conclusion: A baby carrier you should definitely consider buying because it will fit until your baby is ready to walk and maybe even longer and it’s not only adjustable but also has two positions to attach the shoulder straps. I will probably add another video showing the carrier on Youtube soon…

Tested with my almost 15 months old b

aby in may/june 2018. Thanks to the sponsor for the opportunity!
