My first impression

So far I’ve only known the standard carrier I’m having in my consultancy stash. The Isara The One comes with way more possibilities to adjust the carrier to the wearer as well as to the child. Isara says that The One “really fits all”. It’s a fully adjustable carrier from newborn till preschooler and for any physique of the wearer from petite to tall and even plus size persons. I can’t wait to test it! 🙂

How to adjust it

The panel width is steplessly ajustable with velcro as known with many carriers. Giving it an extra width for tall toddlers or preschoolers, there are two additional padded seat transformers with a loop to pull over the hipbelt and hang into a hook, hidden on each side of the panel. The height of the panel as well as the length of the shoulder straps are adjustable with two-way buckles on the shoulder straps. Under the armpit there’s another set of two-way buckles doing the same thing. The connection strap is also two-sided for easy adjustment while wearing your child in front. It can be fully detached if you prefer to wear the shoulder straps crossed.

How does it fit and wear

Concerning the comfort, the hipbelt of The One is a bit cushier and softer than the standard one which makes it a perfect support with heavier children. The shoulder straps are nicely padded as well. I’ve tried the Isara The One during an afternoon in the Zoo where I kept my girl on the back and it was really comfortable. I even did a short up with my 8,5(!) years old boy weighing more than 20 kg. I guess I could’ve even carried him for a while with no hurt in the back or on my shoulders. And, look at the picture: he loved it and found it comfortable, too! 😀 It really was a great moment carrying him on my back after so many years… It’s awesome to have so many options with this carrier!

Conclusion

I didn’t have the opportunity to try Isara The One with a tiny baby yet but I’ve spotted some pictures in Social Media and it really looked good concerning support and position. But feel free to comment with your experiences with The One! Always happy to read and add them to my review! But to draw a line here: In my opinion, with The One Isara really managed to design a lovely carrier that will last for the whole period of baby- and toddlerwearing (and beyond!) and will fit many wearers! Great job!

Tested in autumn 2018 with my 22 months old girl. Thanks to the sponsor!
