About the brand: Isara is a brand from Romania, producing ergonomic baby carriers.

Tested product: Isara winter cover and hood add-on, suitable for front and back carries, especially with carriers.

Fit & practicability: The Winter Cover has perfect size and length to protect your baby, even if it’s already a toddler 😉 It is really easy to use. Two straps on each side of the top of the cover can be attached to your carrier’s shoulder straps by closing one snap each. It’s also possible to gather around a wrap strap if it’s not too thick. If this isn’t possible, because the cover might slide down or you’re using a one-shoulder-carry, you might try to cross the straps on the lower side of the cover behind your back and make a knot on the snap straps above. Normally, the straps are meant to knot on your back. Knotted there, you can just open the top straps if you’re like walking into a warm room and don’t want you and your baby to sweat. This way, the cover can be folded down without the need to fully take it away.

The Isara cover is perfectly adjustable

If you use the Cover (and hood) on your back, attach it to the carrier before you put your child on your back. Then, tie the straps. The cover has drawstrings on the neck and bottom to adjust it perfectly to the size of your baby and your figure and to prevent from chilly winds getting underneath.

Weather suitability: Great for colder days as the filling is really warm and fluffy and the outside is made of waterpoof and windresistant Softshell that still allows the body to breathe. The pocket in the front keeps your hands warm, allows cuddles and gives space for your keys or something else.
I’d recommend to buy the additional hood which can be snapped on and gives some extra protection to your baby during really cold or windy days when a hat isn’t enough. The hood can be closed around baby’s neck.

Conclusion: A warm and super weather protective cover for the cold season that can be worn during the whole babywearing time (also toddlers will fit underneath! 🙂 Easy to put on and off and can be used as blanket when you don’t need it, e.g. in the car, while taking your baby out for nursing or a diaper change… The cozy, fluffy lining and the pocket make the cover a stylish accessory while babywearing. I really like it!
