Luluna Slings – with a soft glamour

Brand: Luluna Slings (Poland)
About the brand: Luluna Slings is known for their vivid and glamourous designs, they also use glitter from time to time. No wonder you’ll get hooked instantly. All wraps are made in the EU with high standards. The aim is to make the wraps soft, grippy and supportive.

Quote: “We are a group of friends who have just started our own small business. We have many years of experience in the babywearing industry. Throughout the years we learnt how to create beautiful and truly unique wraps. We love what we do and we want our wraps to reflect our creativity and passion. We hope to create something special – not a piece of fabric but something more… something that will have its own history and will mean a lot to all moms. We have lots of ideas and find inspiration in diverse sources, and we hope that you will see that yourself in our wraps.”

Dragona Pastel Spring

Material: 100% combed cotton
Density: 320 g/m2
Colours: green, yellow, pink, lilac, blue
Release: march 2018

Princessa Ocean

Material: 70% cotton, 30% linen
Density: 230 g/m2
Colours: deep teal, black
Release: march 2018

My first impression: While Dragona is a real eye catcher with its yummy and gorgeous pastel rainbow, Princessa is a subtle beauty with a quite different touch through the linen and a colour that changes with the light. Same brand – two characters! 🙂

Elegant, grippy linen

How do they wear? Dragona is the easy to use wrap. It’s softer from the start and it feels like there’s less material to handle than with Princessa. Once tied it’s very comfortable and spreads the weight evenly. Princessa on the other hand is perfect for summer with its amount of linen. Due to little single neps, it’s still grippy and very supportive with my toddler girl. It just needs some more time (little time) to fully break in. Until this I prefer multi-layer carries because I’d be afraid the material would glide down my shoulders.

Conclusion: two elegant and beautiful wraps both densely woven with different wrapping qualities but nice support. Especially Dragona is wonderful soft from the start and suitable for all while I wouldn’t use Princessa for smaller babies. Luluna Slings definitely is a brand you should keep your eyes on.

Tested with my 16 months old baby in may/june 2018. Thanks to the sponsor for the opportunity!
