There are\u00a0machine woven\u00a0<\/em><\/a>baby wraps, handwovens<\/a> as well as\u00a0stretchy<\/em> <\/a>baby wraps. Each brand has its specialities and due to different blends also baby wraps from the same brand differ from each other, not also concerning the design but also their touch and feel, their weight and density etc.<\/p>\n

Stretchy wovens are fine for the first time of babywearing with a newborn because they feel like a second skin but with the growing weight of the baby they tend to slide down so you feel the need to rearrange the wrap constantly – time to switch to a woven baby wrap.<\/p>\n

Handwoven baby wraps<\/strong><\/h3>\n

These wraps are produced in a sumptious process and are usually more expensive than machine wovens. Have a look at the Review<\/a>-section to find out more about those wraps and well-known weavers.<\/p>\n

I do not assume liability of tester wraps and other products. Testers usually don’t stay longer than a few days and can’t be tested for more than a few hours. They are usually not washed nor ironed by the testing person. Only the wraps I privately own and have used for a long time, washed several times, can be assumed as recommendable (those are the wraps that are not written “tester” in the title of the review).<\/em><\/p>\n

To be able to recommend a wrap thoroughly, it is essential to use it long-term and wash it once or more times. One cannot prove the continous quality of a baby wrap due to such a short testing period. My reviews are based on my own personal experiences I made with the wrap\/carrier etc. and are not influenced.
