Brand: Dahlia Wrap (CND) About the brand: Ever since I saw the designs of Dahlia, I loved them. “Dahlia” is the name for a beautiful flower and so are the wraps. The design I tested, “Augustine” reminds me of a Dahlia.

Dahlia wrap offers two different collections: the regular and the exclusive one. The first one aims towards parents who start babywearing for the first time and don’t want to spend too much money on a wrap nor want to care a lot for it. Those are available for everyone’s budget and easy-care. Still, the designs and colours are totally appealing.

The exclusive collection offers a small range of wraps with special materials like silk, cashmere and wool, but also cotton. These designs as well, are really beautiful. Their density is a bit higher. Those wraps are made for more experienced babywearers who like to invest a bit more in a favourite accessoire.

Quote:

While her baby napped, she had only one goal in mind: discovering how to produce her own baby slings that would be both comfortable and safe. This is how the Dahlia wrap was born.

My first impression: A beautiful mid-thick wrap with a small amount of stretch. Merino & black lets me think of a rather warm wrap for summer… Lovely structure and texture, though. It’s already pretty soft (it has travelled as tester before).

How does it wear: The wrap is yet a bit too much of fabric for the kangaroo I intended for due to the shortness of the wrap. You can see that the wrap job isn’t that proper (I don’t like the kangaroo anyway 😉 but sufficient enough for our walk. I tried to use the wrap in a Ruck, too. It was okay. The knot gets big.

When carrying my daughter, the wrap was really comfortable and supportive. I didn’t feel her weight. But I’ve been reassured that this isn’t the wrap for a dumpy, warm summer weather and a walk in the sun. 😉 For winter or autumn, it would be perfect!
