ISARA Quick Half-Buckle – overview of specifics
The ISARA Quick comes with a very soft and smooth material, available in splendid colours. Adjustments are made at the hip-belt only. The belt is curved and slightly stuffed with memory foam. Shoulder straps are nicely padded. The hood is detachable. There is also a padding around the leg-opening for child’s comfort and proper thigh support,
My first impression of the ISARA Quick
The sizing adjustment can be made in one single step. By attaching the velcro at a particular position, the width and height are both affected. Really clever!
Besides, the carrier is a lightweight and looks really nice.
How to adjust the ISARA Quick
Three coloured marks on the hipbelt give a hint on how to adjust the carrier to the size of your baby or toddler. Of course one can put the velcro on any inch of the belt for a stepless adjusting. It’s a really easy and very quick handling everybody can use without much explanation.
The „2-in-1 detachable and adjustable hood“ can be rolled up and placed under baby’s neck as head support, „offering maximal neck protection for your baby“. Watch my video…
How does the ISARA Quick fit and wear
It’s a soft carrier and I especially love how soft but still well padded the shoulder straps are. They also stay in place quite well. It makes the carrier comfy though the hip belt is rather thin but tied tibetan, the weight is distributed well…
In the Isara Quick testing circle I’ve done in Switzerland we had a bunch of babywearing consultants trying the Quick with newborns, babys and toddlers. They all were quite happy with the comfort, support and adjustability of this Half-Buckle.
But as you can see on the pics, the back panel could be a bit wider as it won’t fully reach the knee-to-knee position with toddlers.
Of course you can use the shoulder straps for a reinforced seat I find myself struggling doing this neatly when my girl is on the back.
Conclusion of my ISARA Quick test
It’s a perfect solution for babys and tiny toddlers but due tot he rather narrow back panel, it won’t fit from knee to knee with bigger toddlers anymore. But that’s okay because due to the sewn on hipbelt you can’t use the panel fully extended in length what would have been perfect for bigger kids.
Thus, I recommend it from birth until 3 years if you don’t mind that your child won’t be fully covered with the panel by then.
