Diva Milano Essenza Erba Essenza “Erba“ (Tester)

Company: Diva Milano (UK)
Material: cotton
Flächengewicht: 250 g/m2

Company: Diva Milano wraps are designed and produced in Italy, whereas the company itself is located in the UK and the Essenza Collection is woven in India. Diva Milano expanded its product range and lately also produced nursing tops and a babywearing coat. The design and image of Diva Milano tends to mothers who love timeless fashion and an elegant look. New Collections are produced two times per year.
Diva Essenza is the new medium-priced line of Diva Milano. It’s described as “the right product for those who seek for “one wrap for all the babywearing period”, for affordable price.”

Diva Milano My first impression: I already owned three Diva Milano wraps, but not from the Essenza collection. I loved them. Only the one with linen was a bit too slippery for me (but its shine, look and feel was perfect). To be honest, I couldn’t remark a difference. The tester war soft out of the box, coloured in a bright, happy green. Nice design, accurate weaving. Not too thin but airy. Just one broken thread in the middle part of the wrap but that’s pretty common with testers ’cause they’re heavily used.

How it wears: I can’t complain at all. Actually, I was quite impressed! My girl is no lightweight but the wrap did a great job. I carried her in a simple Ruck (once tied tibetan, once not) for short walks, in the kangaroo carry for the pics (she wanted to be carried in front) and during a little hike I wrapped her in a Double Hammock. Rock solid! Awesome! Really surprising because that’s not what I expected from a medium-priced wrap aka cheaper collection of a brand.

Diva Milano Tester All in all: It’s totally true. The Essenza collection is “one wrap fits all”. It’s so soft that I’d totally wrap a newborn with it plus it’s supportive enough for toddlers, at least in a multi-layer-carry. There’s only one design available but it’s timeless and pretty elegant. And, available in different colours, I guess everyone will find a matching wrap 😉

We did the test in august 2015 with our 15 kg wrappee. Thank you for the possibility to take part in this test!
