My first impression: Moonglow popped into my eyes the first time I’ve seen it on pics. It’s even more beautiful to have it in my hands live. Such a delicate wrap with lovely zigzag weaving and diamond weave tail accents with glitter threads! I mean glitter! Impossible to catch it on a pic but it’s really lovely. Rather thin but not too thin, very cushy for sure ’cause it’s been tested by a lot of other mamas before me.
How does it wear: I cannot complain in any way. This wrap is rather thin but still supportive. I wore my daughter in front, which usually isn’t for long (not good for my back 😉 and for a longer walk in a Ruck, tied tibetan as well as (on the back route) in a Double Hammock. In both ways she was easy to carry. Broken in as the wrap was, wrapping and tightening is no prob at all. I’d as well recommend this wrap for newborns or tiny babies.
Fazit: This wrap is pur eye candy (which are all of Mamamokum I’ve seen yet). The colours look brillant together and the tail accents are special. I also love the zigzag weave which I haven’t seen this way before, it’s a wider zigzag than I usually see on wraps, don’t know how to explain it exactly 😉 Moonglow is an allrounder, I guess, once broken in, you can wear it from the beginning of your babywearing days till the end! I probably wouldn’t do a 5 hour-walk in a Ruck or I’d choose a wrap a little bit thicker. But I walked for around half an hour each way and still felt comfy…
This test was done in 2015 with my 14,8 kg and 3,5 years old daughter.
