About the company: Kaami Slings is a very new brand. The wraps are woven in Germany in a family led weaving mill. The founder, Krystyna, isn’t only a passionate babywearer with love for wraps but also a babywearing consultant.
My first impression: The wrap was very fluffy already but also thick and heavy. I wasn’t sure if it would do its job with my tiny baby. But the colours were perfect for spring or summer, I really love them, as well as the vivid design – encouraging to wrap and walk out and about with your baby 🙂
How does it wear: It was a bit chilly outside when I first tried the wrap. But I didn’t even need to wear a jacket because the wrap itself was quite warm. Despite my concerns, I had no problems, wrapping my babygirl. Due to the thickness, I didn’t need to pull and pull the fabric as with thinner wraps. I got a proper wrap job very quickly which leads me to the impression it’s a wrap that will forgive it if you’re in a hurry tightening everything. I’m sure it’s also a great wrap for toddlers.
Conclusion: Nice wrap for not too warm moments and not too young babies 😉 Really solid, rather heavy but easy to wrap and comfortable to wear. You shouldn’t be afraid of a lot of fabric 😉
PS: this was a premiere! It was the first time, hubby let me put a wrap on him 😉 He wasn’t patient enough to let me do a proper wrap job as it was only 2 kilometres to walk back to our car and kids were hungry but he liked it and didn’t complain at all about it being uncomfortable, so – yay for him, I’m really proud! <3
