WEAR ME 4-in-1 Babywearing jacket

About the Brand: Wear me is an Italian babywearing brand.

Tested product & features: the 4-in-1 Wear me jacket comes with insert to zip in, detachable hood and removable lining made of a cozy fake fur. Elastic drawstrings help to adjust the insert to your bump or baby’s size. Flat inner cuffs keep your arms warm. Zipper on the back allows babywearing also on the back. Front pockets with snaps for your hands or stuff like smartphone and keys. The jacket is wind and water repellent but breathing and available in black colour.

Fit & practicability: I am wearing size L which is my usual size approx and the fit is perfect! The drawstrings help adjusting the jacket to your physique. The Wear me is really simply to use with one insert that can be used during pregnany and for babywearing in front and back. Without the insert the jacket can be used like a regular one, without baby. The hood is detachable, the only thing I miss is a hood for the baby and some protection for my neck. I recommend to use a scarf to keep you warm enough.

– Cozy, furry lining –

The lining is attached via zipper, snaps and buttons and can be removed easily when it’s too warm. In winter, I really appreciate the warmth and cozyness of the furry lining.
The pockets can be closed with a snap button so you won’t lose anything 😉 The only thing I found a bit disturbing was the place of the pockets. I like putting my hands in and as long as I carried my babygirl in the front, this was exactly where her feet were which means that the pockets were slightly too high but it should be better with smaller babies 😉 

Weather suitability: The Wear Me is an all-weather-coat and is great for colder days, no matter if stormy, rainy or snowy. The cuffs protect the wearer from cold getting in the jacket. The length of the coat is okay, it could be a bit longer in my opinion but it covers the bum, so don’t worry 😉 The hood is detachable but great to wear during chilly days. There’s no hood for the baby but some kind of an extension of the panel which protects at least  baby’s neck. The black makes it easier to feel warm on chilly but sunny days.

Conclusion: The Wear me pregnancy and babywearing coat is a great allrounder. The black and the simplistic model and design make it a coat for everybody. I guess it could be worn by daddys, too. It’s cozy, warm and can easily be transferred into a lighter jacket by removing the lining. Elastic drawstrings on the panel and on the bottom of the coat help adjusting the jacket to you and your baby.
