Fit: Those diapers really fit perfectly on my baby (around 4kg). The insert stayed in place pretty well though you only put it in the Cover without snaps. Using a small insert, the bum doesnt get too big.
Practicability: The Cover system is really handy because most of the time you only need to change and wash the inserts. You can use the own Milovia inserts and/or combine them with other inserts or muslin squares etc. Because the covers, as well as inserts, can be tumble dried, you can use them soon again and don’t have to wait till they’re dry. The plits are also covered with soft microfleece to save babies skin.
Stay dry: After 2-3 washes it stays dry for about 1-2 hours (Newborns pee a lot 😉 but I guess this will improve quite soon. I had no “accident” at all including poo getting on the cover or pee running out of the diaper.
Wash and dry: Covers and inserts can be washed up to 60° and tumble dried low. If hanged, they dry quickly enough, too.
My conclusion: Definitely a system I’d buy and use regularly. I used the cover several times with no need to wash it. The fit was great on my baby with this diaper. You’re most flexible using as insert whatever comes to your hand… But I really love the inserts from Milova as they’re one of the softest I’ve ever tried.
